How to convert your mosque azan to online?

When we live in cities, there are instances where mosques are a little far away from home. Even though we travel to the mosque by vehicle and fulfill the salah, it would be difficult for us to hear the azan. We manage these by setting up an alarm or by keeping watching the prayer time and traveling for prayer. For the ladies in the home, in many countries, they fulfill their prayer from home itself. One of the wishes for us in such a situation is about hearing azan.

We know that when we hear the azan, we give a reply to each of the words told by the muezzin. This would reward us and also be a gentle reminder of our prayers.

Insha allah, let us together take Azan from local mosque to every Muslim Home.

Keeping this in mind, we have created an OnlineAzan app for you. This is live streaming of azan from your local mosque. Most of the azan apps currently available in the market are having recorded azan. We may not be so certain on whether we can reply to such azan. But the OnineAzan app telecasts the azan from your mosque in real-time. So this may be nearer to reality even though there will be a few seconds lag during the live telecast. Allah knows the best.

In the OnlineAzan app, we have kept a key feature that after installing the app you can choose for which prayer timing you want to hear the azan. After choosing you don't have to do anything during that particular azan time. Your phone will automatically switch on and give the azan as soon as the Muezzin starts the azan in the nearby mosque. We generally go to work or other public places, in such situations we can switch off the azan during those times. Install OnlineAzan app Now

For this OnlineAzan concept to work, your local mosque also should start using the OnlineAzan app and they need to use that while giving the Azan. As most of us are educated, it would be good for us to train the local Mosque people on how to use this OnlineAzan app. It is very simple and straightforward. I hope if we help a mosque to adapt to this online mode and because of which if 1000s of people can hear azan and reply to it, inshallah a portion of the reward will reach you as well.

Let us see the simple steps that mosque has to follow to set up their account. This registration has to be done by a Mosque authority who takes care of appointing the Muezzin. The registration is done using a mobile number, which is used by the mosque. After registration, the mosque authority needs to create Muezzin. They have to just enter Muezzin's name and their phone number. After creating Muezzin they can send the login user id and password to the Muezzin through the share option. The mosque then set up the azan timing. These timing can be changed by the mosque or by the muezzin. The rest of the jamath members will be able to see these timings. If the mosque has only a few people and if they would like to use the same phone for azan they can still do that by using the azan tab. Install OnlineAzan app Now

The muezzin needs to install the OnlineAzan app on their mobile phone and then practice giving the azan. The practice tab doesn't telecast the azan however it will give the muezzin an option to play it back to see whether it is done properly. The muezzin when he starts the azan will give a countdown until the count down reaches 0 don't start the azan. It is preferable to give azan from a silent room as it is done normally. After each sentence of the azan, the OnlineAzan app will detect that and give a green indication at the bottom. This means that the particular word is telecasted to the jamath members. So in case you are not giving enough pause, please practice giving a little pause. One or two seconds of pause also would be sufficient. After practicing, the Muezzin can give the Azan in the Real Azan tab. This will be telecasted in real-time to the jamath members. So take care that the azan is given in proper time. Please note that OnlineAzan is just for giving Azan. When muezzin starts the azan another est of validation is done whether the muezzin's phone has a required internet connection. If not the azan won't start and muezzin has to enable the internet and then start the azan.

The OnlineAzan app is suitable as mosque software for modernisation using advanced technology. Even if the azan is telecasted through Radio in some countries, the azan is heard only by people who tune into the radio signal at that time. But in this app, the azan will automatically play in the jamath members phone if they subscribe for the particular prayer azan.

When we spend lot of money in building the mosque, it is also important that we use modern technology in the mosque. The OnlineAzan could insha allah help more jamath members connected to the mosque and increase the number of members who reply to azan and pray on time.
